A reclusive, obese online-expository writing teacher, Charlie, hides away in his apartment, and slowly eats himself to death to the detriment of everyone around him. Desperate to reconnect with his long-estranged daughter, Ellie, he reaches out to her, only to find a sharp-tongued and wildly unhappy teenager.

Performances: March 21 - April 6.

ROLES AVAILABLE:

Liz – mid 30’s to 50’s. She is a nurse. She is Charlie’s “enabler” because she feeds him junk food despite his enormous weight though she constantly pleads with him to get better medical care. She is the sister of Charlie’s friend who died.

Elder Thomas – 19-25. A young Morman missionary who frequently visits Charlie in the hopes of spiritually healing him with God's word.

Ellie – 17-19. Charlie and Mary’s daughter. Ellie has not seen or talked to her father in 8 years, thanks to her mother’s full custody, until she shows up one day at his apartment. She is viciously sharp-tongued and wildly unhappy.

Mary – mid-40’s to late 50’s. Charlie’s ex-wife, and Ellie’s mother. She is a recovering alcoholic who has neglected her daughter’s upbringing.
